KERALA KALEIDOSCOPE

The moment you think of Kerala, the first thing that comes in your mind is Backwaters of Kerala. On the south-western coast of India lies the state of Kerala; a land of spices, tea and teak plantations, and coconut groves. Immerse yourself in Cochin’s fascinating history that saw the likes of Vasco da Gama and other early explorers plant a foothold in India. Enjoy the beautiful Western Ghats Mountains that rise inland from the Arabian Sea when visiting plantations in a hill station. Spend time appreciating the great bio-diversity while taking boat rides and guided walks through the bird and animal-filled Periyar National Park. This sublime journey finishes in Kumarakom, the backwaters of Kerala where you’ll enjoy staying on board a typical and luxurious houseboat; drinking in Kerala’s special ambiance. The mother nature has been very kind on this tiny southern Indian state and thus Kerala is rightly said, God’s Own Country.
